The Tennessee State Data Center is pleased to announce continuation of a series of computer-based workshops to enhance user-knowledge of Census products and tools. An American FactFinder (AFF) session will focus on the recent enhancements to AFF’s features and functionalities. The On-The-Map session will introduce many of you to a new powerful visualization/analysis tool based in the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) program. This will be a great time to network with fellow Tennessee affiliates and to provide input to the Lead agency, as well as the Census Bureau, on your specific data issues and needs. We are fortunate to have Erran Persley, Information Services Specialist, from the Philadelphia Regional Office of the U.S. Bureau of the Census, on hand to provide valuable hands-on training. The workshop will be held on January 15, 2013 at the Downtown Nashville Public Library, located at 615 Church Street. Lunch will be provided free of charge to participants. The workshop is hands-on, therefore you will need to bring a laptop if you wish to participate in the hands-on activities, although it is not required to attend the meeting.
